The MEARIE Group represents the entities of the Municipal Electric Association Reciprocal Insurance Exchange (MEARIE) and MEARIE Management Inc. (MMI). MMI manages the day-to-day business of the Reciprocal and offers an extensive range of services that include Human Resource solutions and Financial and Business solutions.

Reciprocals need not build a profit element into premium rates, which allows coverage to be provided on a very competitive basis. This operational advantage has allowed MEARIE to provide greater price stability and lower premium rates than commercial insurers on a consistent basis.
